NYU’s Department of Residential Life is showing the film A Place at the Table at 10:00 a.m. at the Palladium Residence Hall in the Multipurpose Room (3rd floor behind the cafeteria) at 140 East 14th Street. I’ll be speaking about the issues it raises after the showing.

I’m doing a panel discussion to celebrate the release of Nick Freudenberg’s new book, Lethal but Legal: Corporations, Consumption, and Protecting Public Health. It’s at the Skylight Room, 9th Floor, CUNY Graduate Center, 365 5th Ave, 5:30-7:30 p.m. The other panelists are Nick Freudenberg and Laura Berry, director of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility. It’s free and open to the public but reservations are recommended.
